Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern the mutual rights and obligations between Hope&Go s.r.o. (the "Lessor") and the customer (the "Renter") when renting the Adria Twin 640 SGX motorhome. They form an integral part of every reservation and become binding for both parties the moment the Lessor confirms the reservation.
1. Age and documents
The renter must be at least 21 years old and have held a category B driving licence for at least 3 years. The vehicle is handed over upon presenting two identity documents — an ID card and a driving licence; companies additionally present a commercial-register extract or a trade licence. Only the renter and additional drivers named in the reservation, who meet the same criteria, may drive the vehicle. Smoking is prohibited in the vehicle and the vehicle must not be modified in any way (wrapping, drilling, screwing, dismantling parts, etc.).
2. Handover and return of the vehicle
We always agree on the place and time of both handover and return — we usually hand over od 9:00 and the vehicle is returned do 17:00 on the agreed day, normally at the Lessor's registered office unless agreed otherwise. Handover including the instruction takes approx. 45–60 minutes.
We hand the vehicle over clean with a full fuel tank and it is returned in the same state. The renter does not need to refill gas or water. The waste-water tank and the cassette-toilet tank must be emptied by the renter before return, otherwise we charge a fee of 1,500 Kč for emptying or cleaning.
Rental days do not overlap: the return of one renter and the handover to another do not happen on the same day — the return day is part of the agreed term and the calendar blocks it as occupied.
The vehicle is equipped with a fire extinguisher and a first-aid kit; after using them the renter must arrange replacements.
3. Price list and seasons
The per-day price according to the current price list on the website:
- Spring — shoulder season (April – 14 June): 3500 Kč / day
- Summer — peak season (15 June – 15 September): 4200 Kč / day
- Autumn season (16 September – October): 3500 Kč / day
- Winter — off season (November – March): 2700 Kč / day
If you choose the cheaper price limited to 200 km/day in the form, an overage of 7 Kč per kilometre above the limit is charged when the vehicle is returned (per the odometer reading).
The booking form allows requests for 1–21 days; longer terms and other requests are arranged individually. Minimum rental length: season (15 Jun–15 Sep) 7 days, spring/autumn 4 days, winter 3 days — for terms spanning seasons the longer part of the reservation decides.
4. Fees and equipment
The one-off service fee of 400 Kč covers vehicle preparation and handover. For a surcharge selected in the form we provide post-return cleaning (900 Kč), fresh bed linen (500 Kč) and the rohlík (1 Kč). Camping tableware (plates, cookware, cutlery and kitchen accessories) is part of the vehicle equipment.
5. Deposit
At handover we require a refundable deposit of 25,000 Kč — in cash or by bank transfer before pickup. The deposit secures damage not covered by insurance, irremovable soiling, interior damage or missing equipment. It is returned when the vehicle comes back undamaged; if returned by transfer, we send it to the renter's account after inspecting the vehicle.
6. Insurance
The vehicle is insured against liability for damage caused by operating the vehicle (territorial validity per the green card) and by comprehensive insurance with a deductible of 10,000 Kč. In the event of a claim the deductible is deducted from the deposit. The comprehensive insurance does not cover damage to or loss of accessories and items stored in the vehicle, nor their theft — such damage is paid by the renter. The details of the insurance terms are part of the documentation handed over with the vehicle.
7. Payment terms
After the reservation is confirmed the renter must pay a deposit of 30% of the total rental price within 5 calendar days — the term stays blocked; if the deposit is not received within the agreed period, we may release the term. The renter pays the remaining rental price and fees by bank transfer no later than 30 days before the vehicle handover; if handover is less than 30 days after confirmation, we agree on a payment schedule individually. Payment details are provided in the reservation confirmation.
8. Discounts
As stated in the price list: discounts are provided for rentals from 14 days and for regular customers (repeat reservations). Discounts are applied manually when the reservation is confirmed — the calculator in the form does not include them. Rentals longer than 21 days are arranged individually.
9. Penalties
For the loss of keys, the vehicle registration certificate or other handed-over documentation we charge a contractual penalty of up to 5,000 Kč per lost item. For returning a heavily soiled vehicle (beyond normal cleaning) up to 5,000 Kč. For late return of the vehicle up to 5,000 Kč for each commenced 24 hours of delay; not counted if a later return was agreed with the Lessor during the rental. Damage beyond the deposit is paid by the renter within 5 working days after invoicing.
10. Accidents and breakdowns
The renter must report any damage to or defect of the vehicle or its equipment to the Lessor immediately by phone. In case of an accident, a natural event, an intrusion by a third party or theft of the vehicle, they must call the Czech Police and request a record of the investigation. Repairs may only be carried out at an authorised service partner and with the Lessor's consent. Contacts and emergency procedures are part of the handed-over documentation.
11. Cancellation terms
If you cancel the reservation, we charge cancellation fees:
- 30% of the total price when cancelled 30 or more days before the rental starts,
- 50% when cancelled 29–15 days before the rental starts,
- 100% when cancelled 14–0 days before the rental starts, failure to show up for handover, or failure to meet the handover conditions.
The cancellation must be reported by email or phone. If the rental ends early, the unused part of the rental price is not refunded.
